LAMATA starts work on BRT extension from Mile 12 – Ikorodu

The construction of infrastructure for the Bus Rapid Transit, BRT extension from Mile 12 to Ikorodu town, is under way by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, LAMATA.
The agency will meet with property owners, transport unions, community leaders as well as other stakeholders this Thursday, where the project will be officially presented to the public.
Governor Babatunde Fashola had earlier disclosed that the design on the reconstruction of Ketu -Ikorodu Road was ready. It will cost a total of N29 billion. Already thousands of houses have demolished fot the purpose
