A gang of armed robbers on Sunday afternoon attacked four interstate passenger buses at Ogbemudia Farms in Edo State on Benin-Ore Expressway.
A witness told PUNCH that the robbers blocked the road with a trailer and lured unsuspecting vehicles into an ambush.
The robbery halted traffic on the road as the drivers of over 50 vehicles fled the scene.
They robbers were, however, dislodged by policemen after robbing the passengers for about 30 minutes.
