A 94-year-old former Head of Department of Nigerian Army Base Workshop, Yaba, Lagos, Pa. Dickson Eburu, has been installed the Okpako Orere (Head) of Okere-Urhobo Kingdom, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The event attended by elders of the Kingdom, opinion leaders, among them, George Eburu, Alex Eda and political bigwigs such as Special Assistant to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan on Special Duties, Mr. Matthew Poko- Opuoru, immediate past Leader of Warri South council, Mr. Sunday Aguweye and Chairman of Okere-Urhobo Community Development Committee, Mr. Emmanuel Eminokanju.
Pa. Eburu, who is also the Igede of Okere-Urhobo, in his acceptance speech, promised to always “provide advisory opinion, safeguards that will ensure justice, unity, love and peaceful coexistence,” among members of Olodi, Oki, Ighogbadu, Makro and Itifo descendants.
