LONDON 2012: Nigeria’s Regina George, Omolara Omotosho qualify for 200m semis

The quest to end the medal drought for Team Nigeria was given boost today as Nigerian athletes, Regina George and Omolara Omotosho qualified for Saturday’s semi-fnals of the London 2012 Olympics Games women’s 400m race.


Regina dusted five other athletes to win Heat Seven in a time of 51.24secs.

Omotosho emerged fourth in Heat Three in a time of 52.11secs.
