What is going to hapen to the LASTMA officials that lied aganst her?
ReplyDeleteYeees! Am so happ 4u, u spirit is strongly behind u
ReplyDeleteThis matter should be looked into, this has exposed the lack of Integrity of lastma Officials and their Modus operandi. They lie, they lay ambush and they extort people.
ReplyDeleteDATS GOOD JUSTICE, WHICH MEANS LASTMA OFFICIALS ARE GREAT LIARS,DEY MUST BE QUERY.
ReplyDeleteI thank God for the release of Yinka, great tanx to the eye witnesses that came to testify, u ppl will not look for helpers in life AMEN.congrats Yinka
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for this woman..I'm so sure her families and well wishers been praying for her...Our God lives..And for these rogues that call themselves LASMA,u people have bn put to shame..U guys were only attracted to her new model Land Rover..Awon Ole...
ReplyDeleteChei! Those lastma now allowed d woman to be detained with her three months old baby. And somebody said it b4 dat she was at d wrong place at d wrong time, just see how wetin person no know dey tire person. Thank God for eyewitnesses
ReplyDeleteFrom her looks, she CANNOT hurt a fly.
ReplyDeleteThe lasma official must be prosecuted.
Thank God for her
ReplyDeleteAm happy for U, thank God for his intervention in this case, its the Lord doing.
ReplyDeleteThe Lastma official that lied against her should be charged for false imprisonment and made to tender a public apology!
ReplyDeleteThis should serve as a lesson for every to be la abiding and faithful at all times. Driving on the wrong (one) way is very dangerous
ReplyDeleteShe should sue both LASTMA and the Lagos state government.
ReplyDeleteThis is more than character defamation. Can we imagine what would have happened to her if there were no eyewitnesses. This shows what this officials do daily, cooking up lies against innocent citizens on a daily basis.
Both LASTMA and the Lagos state government MUST apologize to her unreservedly. The fact that the boss and top echelon of LASTMA issued a press statement indicates that lies, falsehood and lack of integrity are the hallmark of this organization, what a sham, shame on them!
And the Lagos state government is clamouring for a state police service when we have issues like this? God have mercy!
Again from what i have heard, the place is not even a one way route.
She MUST be compensated big time. This is a blunder and PR mess for LASTMA and the state government.
Some heads should roll.
Am very happy for her.
ReplyDeleteThis will show the world why drivers fear LASTMA more than criminals and Police on the road. They are worse than the Police and robbers put together. Whatever sentence that should have been pronounced if Yinka Johnson was guilty of having killed the LASTMA official should be passed on all the LASTMA officials that dreamt up and promoted the story against her. This is what they do every day and get away with it. Some will tell you to use a lane or road while others are waiting to arrest your for violation of traffic rules. God save us from Nigerian Uniform. They lack integrity to a fault.
ReplyDeleteThe ability of eye withnesses to volunteer information to the Nigerian police must be lauded. Thank you for daring to come out and testify even in the fear of the old practice of having to repeat visit to the police station.
ReplyDeleteThis is an important step in ensuring that justice is not misplaced, and just people are not wrongly punished. It is also a legacy that should be built upon by Nigerian. It will be a source of help to Police investigations
I want to say that if Nigerian will be ready to stand to defend each other for just courses and collectively condemn wrong doing, we might be heading back for a GREAT NATION. This is because only integrity and justice can return the lost glory.
Corruption in all its ramifications such as the intended by LASTMA officials and that going on in the highest places will be a proper taboo, and not an unwritten code being practiced.
Also I must say bravo to Nigeria Police and also beg that they should let integrity be their watch word. This will help redeem the image of the Nigeria Police.
JUSTICE MUST PREVAIL.LASTMA OFFICIALS ARE FOND OF LEADING YOU ASTRAY WHEN YOU ASK THEM IF A WAY YOU WANT TO PASS IS OKAY.THEY WILL QUICKLY ARRANGE AMIDST THEMSELVES WHO TO GO AND STAND AHEAD TO ACCOST THE MOTORIST.THEY ALSO REMOVE SIGNS SHOWING ONE WAY,SO THAT YOU COULD PASS AND GET INTO THEIR FABRICATED TROUBLE.OGA EDU/BROS FASHOLA ACT FAST.
ReplyDeleteThank God oh. Truly, this what LASTMA guys do daily - lie to get you in trouble like they get medals for the number of people they succeedEd in "robbing".
ReplyDelete""LASTMA General Manager, Mr. Babatunde Edu, had last Friday, in a statement by his spokesman, Bola Ajao, said : “Balogun was this morning, Friday, killed by a banker on the Lekki-Ajah Expressway while carrying out his official assignment at his duty post at Mega City, Ajah.""
ReplyDeleteThese two men are goats. they acted like illiterates for jumping to conclusions without proper investigation. They should be sued and sacked. Stupid men in LASTMA, stupid organisation in Lagos, what a country. Shame.
Oh dear. Whatever could have happened to that woman if there were no eyewitnesses!
ReplyDeleteLocked up and forgotten!
Police was once the scariest people ever. We just assumed things can't get worse than we have it with the police but what do we have here?
LASTMA!
I'll need me some soldiers to be able to drive around Lagos again. Love the way they handle those twisted souls!
To think that my tax is paying those evil things to stand on road!... *vex*
That LASTMA official who gave wrong info to the general public should be dealt with also.
ReplyDeleteFolks, I have a question to ask you all....don't you think that this lady is lucky because she is not just an ordinary person? She is a banker who works with big bosses. I think eye witnesses alone could not have brought her out from detention so quickly if not for the intervention of the big people in the society. Police also know the implication of illegally detaining someone of her calibre.
ReplyDeleteThere are many innocent people like her who are currently being detained illegally simply because of their level of poverty. May God help us. I just pity the little baby. The foolish Lastma people should face wrath of the law. Ms. Johnson, please seek redress so that this will serve as a deterrent to other Lastma staff.
We are happy for Ms Johnson, Justice prevailed on this occasion.
ReplyDeleteBut let us not forget that in the MAJORITY of cases in Nigeria, justice is not present. I personally have been the victim of extortion by LATSMA and Nigerian Police Officers on multiple occasions, as have no doubt millions of road users.
I thank God for revealing the truth. Lagos state govt is just creating rules for lastma hoodlums to hijack and purnish the innocent public. Now that the innocent lady has been proven innocent what will happen to lastma and all their lies?what ever happens will prove if fashola is aiding and abbeting terror on d public via group of criminals called lastma.
ReplyDeleteHONESTLY LASTMA ARE EVIL GENIUS. SHOULD BE SCRAPPED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. THEY HAVE LOST RELEVANCE.
ReplyDeleteLASTMA DENTS THE IMAGE OF THE GOVERNMENT DAILY. THEY NEED BRAIN TEST. HONESTLY I DONT WISH TO SEE THEM AT ALL...MONSTERS
ReplyDeleteTHESE PEOPLE- LASTMA- ARE SET BACK TO GOOD GOVERNANCE. THEY ARE AGBERO IN UNIFORM.. SEND THEM FOR BRAIN TEST THEY ARE NOT FIT FOR OUR SOCIETY.
ReplyDeleteGod will bless the eye witness that testified in her favour, and I encourage her to sue LASTMA for that.
