The James Ibori Political Associates, have cancelled the 54th Birthday celebration of Chief James Onanefe Ibori earlier scheduled for Saturday, 4th August 2012.
The group in a statement Friday signed by its secretary, Olorogun Jaro Egbo said; “we regret to announce the cancellation of all activities planned to mark the 54th birthday anniversary of James Onanefe Ibori due to circumstances beyond our control.
“We appeal to all our invited guests that the decision to cancel the event is as result of the sad loss of our national leader’s brother who died after a brief illness”.
“Our Prayers and indeed that of all well meaning Deltans are with the Ibori family at this period. We enjoined all Deltans and indeed Nigerians to continue to pray to God to strengthen our leader, Chief James Ibori as he matches through this difficult phase of his life.
“We therefore apologize for the inconveniences the cancellation will cost our numerous guests and supporters.”

We just missed an opportunity to see fools and thieves gather. Shameless lot. Ur disappointments have only just started.
ReplyDeleteShame on you. You must be fake Deltans and bastard Urhobos. If you annoy us further and we talk to our God, your thieving leader will not come out of the present ordeal a normal person again.
ReplyDeleteWhat an errant nonsense? U mean people were actually organising a burthday celebration for Ibori? Gosh!
ReplyDeleteAgain, it is laughable to seek to "apologise for the inconveniences
" not holding the bash would cause. Well, thank you. We are no in the leat inconvenienced. We are fine.
Sure enough, we just missed an opportunity to be so entertained by baboons.
What am surprised at is dat some Nigerians don't have at all. U guys wants to celebrate d birthday of a thief who is convicted and he's still serving in jail, or u people wants to throw some SARA (sacrifice) so dat he comes out on time. Una don fail. And a true Deltan will get up, stand up, baff up, dress up and start attending d birthday of a shameless thief. Shame to those dat will do dat.
ReplyDelete....and nigerianeye published dis?
ReplyDeleteYes.........It can be published.It's a news
ReplyDeleteIf it's not published,no one will know thiefs that are organizing birthday for a thief languishing in the prison........Shee you see now?
Thank God we were saved the embarrassment this planned birthday would have caused the already battered image of the nation. some Nigerians are funny. We must be the laughing stock of other nations. It is only in Nigeria that corruption is openly celebrated unhindered. Imagine the audacity of the birthday organisers trying to organize a birthday party for a renowned and convicted criminal languishing in an English jail! It is rather unfortunate to say the least.
ReplyDeleteOlorogun Jaro Egbo must be a buffoon-how can a chief be a part of this stupidity??
