A 53-year-old “family” man, who he declined to name, claimed his company car was stolen on June 12 while he was helping a woman who had jumped in front of the car in Delftm, South Africa.
He opened a case of hijacking and claimed two men stole the car and his personal belongings.
Findings later revealed that the man had actually picked up a s.ex worker along the road, and stopped behind bushes near a petrol station, close to Brentwood Park, around 3am.
“He was caught with his pants down when two unidentified males approached him and robbed him of his personal belongings, and took the company’s car with them.”
The car was eventually stopped by work colleagues and the men and sex worker fled.
