Organisers of the Lagos Junior League have concluded plans to present medals and trophies to winners of the 2011/2012 season on Monday, 23 July, 2012.
The Executive Secretary of Lagos Junior League, Barrister Taofiq Bello-Aromire told reporters that the trophies and medals presentation ceremony will hold at 10am at the Molade Okoya-Thomas Indoor Sports Hall, Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
He hinted that the ceremony was necessary to celebrate the league champions in the Premiership, League 1, Leagues 2A and B.
The Lagos Junior League scribe further disclosed that some outstanding players who distinguished themselves in the season under review would equally be rewarded at the ceremony.
According to Aromire, the event will enable the organisers to unveil the league format and calendar for the upcoming season, and also create an avenue for social interaction among the stakeholders.
Among the invited guests that will grace the occasion, are: Lagos State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Waheed Oshodi Enitan, Chairman, Lagos State House Committee on Sports and Youth Development, Babatunde Lawrence Ayeni and Chairman of Lagos State Football Association, Seyi Akinwunmi.
