The Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties and Social Development Matters, Mrs Sarah Pane has said that the negative use of the social media by Nigerian youths is impacting negatively on the country's image adding that denigrating Nigerian leaders through the medium has become a pastime of the youths to the extent that the Nigerian President has become the most insulted in the world. "This is not the type of record we want. Let's use the social media for positive interaction", she posited.
Pane was speaking at the Discovery Empowerment Programme for NYSC that took place on Wednesday at Alexis Hotel, Jabi, Abuja which had in attendance more than 200 members.
In a goodwill message, the representative of the Director General, National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Mr. Salawu Abdulrazak praised the programme and called for greater support from government so that more sorpsmembers can benefit adding that the management of NYSC would seek ways to strengthen ties with the office of the Special Adviser on Social Development in a bid to extend the programme to orientation camps.

ReplyDeleteI know there's an oath to allegiance that government officials swear to when they take office.
ReplyDeleteBut what bothers me is whether there's also an oath to stupidity and lack of logical reasoning when they take office.
Dear special adviser.... You ain't seen nothing yet. Y'all should keep bn corrupt and expect us to shut up as usual. God will deal with all of you. It will not be well with all corrupt politicians in Nigeria who steal money make selfish decisions and make life miserable for people. We are not fools, we don't just have the power, but now social media has give people power and u are mad. If u've all bn doing good right from day 1, trust me; youths will all sing your praises. ReplyDeleteDear Madam SA,
ReplyDeleteThe foolishness/wickedness of the Presidency and the Nigerian Leaders is frustrating the the Nigerian Youths. we have reached a point where we have to take our faith in our hands! we will not stop until you do what is right. all the leaders who are set out to frustrate us will not have peace in their lives. evil will continually befall all the corrupt leaders. that's a promise!
The drama continues in the Nigerian political sector. This administration wins award as the WORST in the history of Nigeria. If you want to be praised, then work for it. "You shall reap whatever you sow". Madam, insult is just the beginning; the worst is yet to befall the Nigerian politicians.
