Governor Adams Oshiomhole of the Action Congress Party of Nigeria was this morning officially declared winner of the election held yesterday by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

He defeated Major General Charles Airhiavbere, of the Peoples Democratic Party by a very wide margin.
According to the results declared today by the INEC, Oshiomhole polled 477,478 votes. The PDP candidate mustered a distant 144,235 votes.
The candidates of the ANPP got 3,642 votes, CPC2,793, LP 604, NCP 540 and NCND 807.
The accredited voters were 667,993 out of a registered voters of 1.6 million.

So what is Anenih going to do? Retire from politics or continue? The problem with Adams Oshiomhole is that he talks too much. He was quoted yesterday saying INEC has failed just because of delays in accreditation. When you are eating with a devil, you use a long spoon. This devil will cash on his statement and make desperate efforts to destabilize his 2nd tenure by dragging him to court but God is on his side, there will be no palaver. ReplyDeleteAnenih is now politically useless as he can not even deliver in his constituency. Same happened to his shameless old friend in Ogun state wen he could nt deliver his pooling booth.
