A visit to the Ikeja shopping mall this morning revealed a protest to parking fees by shop owners. they were protesting against the imposition of a N200/hr parking fee by the management of the Mall.
Our correspondent spoke with some shop owners who said that the new fees would affect thier business adversely and was not part of the agreement with the mall operators.
According to a shop owner who asked to be anonymous, This is contrary to the business model of a shopping mall which depends on free moving customers leasurely shopping for goods after wandering and window shopping.
