ReplyDelete*Please do not give the attention seekers any more attention. It would be disgraceful to take any focus away from the many people who lost their lives in this tragedy. They are the focus.
They fly very old airplanes ... . No one survive on an Md-80 crash due the airplane structure is so narrow and the engines are on the back so the fire comes to you after crashing .
ReplyDeleteThis aircrafts are no longer made ,are old and the brand name maker doesnt make more airplanes for commercial aviation and there is reason for that.
This is very sad...may their families find solace...I feel so sad...
ReplyDeleteI sympathise with the families involved.

RIP!!
ReplyDeleteCorruption led to this tragedy. The Nigerian government does a poor job to ensure air safety....as is the case with most of sub-Sahara Africa. If you are flying to the continent, suggest flying on Western or Asian air carriers. Two crashes in one day is no coincidence.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend's dead should not die in vain. The world should cry out for safe air service throughout Africa. Again, the Nigerian government is corrupt.

Many years ago the word awesome referred to a terrible catastrophe, such as a hurricane or tornado or even the devastating destruction caused by an earth quake. Today it seems to mean the opposite.
ReplyDeleteI must assume the first comment by Anonymous was referring to the words original definition.

This is really sad and depressing. I'm just scared at what the manifest will reveal. ReplyDeleteIts a pity i leave and belong to a constantly mourning country. May the soul of the lost RIP. and i ahve sat in front of my screen and watche how the aviation ministry has been pool of curruption and the total failure of all its regulatory bodies, and wish for total overhal of the ministry, from the minister to all its head of agencies, and recommend the grounding of the said airline and all not meeting air standard. This i must sau it a BLACK SUNDAY to the nation. I deeply suggest that our leaders awaken to all its responsibilities.
ReplyDeleteThe ill-fated Dana plane had been under repair for several weeks and the airline's station manager protested its use but the Indian mgt insisted it should fly!>:O.
ReplyDeleteThe German stations are reporting that the plane which just crashed should never have taken off becos of its write off state and that its a wonder the plane even made it to lagos!>:O >:O keep forwarding the message until it gets to the Minister of Aviation
To 826. Your right, I have no right to step on any beliefs and I am sorry if you took it that way. I do not hate you or anyone else for that matter and the people that have put hated comments are few compared to the other 100s of comments. Please try to see the good in people, not all of us feel that way. The American people need to realize that color is only skin deep. There is hatred and bigotry in every race. In this day and age you would think this would be over with. I am very disappointed that people feel we are not all equal because we are.
ReplyDeleteVery very saaaad so sorry for the family it' s like a flash peace.
ReplyDeleteIf it is true that the Station Manager advised against flying the plane that crashed, and the Indian Management insited that it should fly, I believe their license should be withdrawn immediately. I know our corrupted leaders will never withdraw their license. SHAME ON NIGERIA
ReplyDeleteguys even as we reflect on what have happen, let bear in mind, we cant change that it did happen how do we prevent the future reoccurance.that could be more or less than what we experience to day

ReplyDeleteU're such a dumb bootlicker commentor 1 and as for the rest of you low life BASTARDS riding along with him should go fuck yo momma behind.
ReplyDeleteMay their soul rest in perfect peace
May God have mercy on the people of Nigeria in a time like this, may He heal all the hearts that are crying now for there love ones and god bless those who lost their lives in such a tragedy including my deceased husband who was from Nigeria. R.I.P!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are right about Nigerian scams. I manage a/store business with thousands of outlets in america. This business has been hit hard over the year's. 7-Eleven Inc. Nigeria has computers/phones but no compassion for their own people. This is a country that has no laws by the people for the people. Thousdands die every day from Aids, starvation and curroption.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to all involved... may God's peace be upon all of the families. As for the first commmenter, do NOT respond to him! He is just a troll trying to get a response! Ignore him and don't allow your negativity to poison the goodwill, hope and prayers for those involved in the crash. He's just in need of attention and the more that respond, the more he's satisfied. Just stay positive with your comments for the dead and their families.

Amen to the last comment. So good to see gracious people over-riding those who are not in these things. Blessings to all you who share kind condolences here.
ReplyDeleteThe majority of people in the USA are deeply saddened by this tragic loss of life and our prayers go up for the families of the victims.
ReplyDeleteIt is disappointing to see so many offensive and disturbing comments on this post..! Many in our world have lost regard for the Sanctity of Life. Such a sad state this world is in with so many sick minds.
As for me.. a white middle aged woman in little town USA.. I pray for the souls of those that lost their lives today. Let us ask God (whomever you believe him to be)to shine His white healing light, love and compassion to the families of all involved.
The pix with the dead little girl and an injured woman is from a bomb attack on a church early this morning in Bauchi, where are we heading to??? My friend was on this same plane yesterday what if it happened then( God Forbid) how would i be today, even with this news im the most depressed man in the whole world....(Sigh)
ReplyDeleteTo those who feed off of the individuals who think this misfortune for others is 'Awesome. They lack an obvious sense of 'Character and doesn't deserve your reaction.
ReplyDeleteSimply ignore them. ...'Time has its way of balancing all things out in life to us all for better/worse.
Better them to lack this quality of 'Character than you. The "Anonymous" from them speaks volume in this. Imagine that.
myaidsjourney.blogspot.com to know more of me.
Imagine that~.
Aloha from Hawaii.
This is a wake up call for us all. We all may be saying that the should rest in peace, but what if the are not in right standing with God, which peace are they going to rest in.
ReplyDeleteYou may meet your own death in your sleep tonight, But canyou beat your chest to say that you are in right standing with your maker? Give your life to Jesus Christ today because not even your wealth can save you from death when it comes to your door step not to talk of Hell. Only Jesus can save you and your soul.
He loves you !!!
I love all the righteously indignant folks wishing the most vile of things upon the ones
ReplyDeletewho's comments they find offense with. No hypocrisy there. Bottom line? Shiit happens.
I wonder if any of you know what you are speaking about? Commentor 1 at the end of the day you are a human being just as vulnerable to death as any of us and trust me you will die as it is apart of life. When you talk about 153 ppl dead bear in mind you are speaking about babies as well. What are you all doing really? with all the violence going on in the world you are making awful remarks about hundreds of people who died in a tragic plane crash. There is nothing awesome about it and if you were there and saw the carnage first hand you would not think its so great. Babies dead on the ground who do any of you think you are? It takes a real sociopath to exercise no empathy and to do it with the precision and accuracy which you show in your comments. Nigerians have done nothing to anyone but try to make ends meet as they are sometimes led in the wrong direction due to desparation. I have known many NIGERIANS and most of them are doctors and extremely successful people. Maybe you should picture walking up to a scene like this only to see your mother laying on the floor dismembered. Stop the nonsense and go read a book you are ignorant and sick I am a psychologist and that is my professional opinion. Leave these people in this forum to mourn their loss what you are doing is no different from what the scam artists you complain about does. To those who have lost family members please accept my deepest condolence and please reach out to a mental health professionals in your area. God Bless mother Africa the craddle of civilization.
ReplyDeleteMy heart felt wishes of speedy recovery go out to the injured in the buildings and surrounding area. My prays to the unfortunate souls lost in this tragedy. My you find peace and May your loved ones soon be able to live there lives again love and happiness.
ReplyDeleteSeriously... There are people making jokes about this? When did people really become this sick?
ReplyDeleteI pray for those who have lost loved ones that God may comfort them.

My condoleances to the families. Let's pray about these families, the only we can do for them.

ReplyDeleteCool! 153 souls now rest with the Lord Jesus just like they wished and he commanded, so, no reason to be sad people! Geeeeez! what's the big freaking deal...
ReplyDeletePeace and comfort for the the people that died in this plane crash and prays for the love ones left behind, a very sad day.. God be with you..
ReplyDeleteAt least two people above said, that the first poster meant "awful" instead of "awesome", but I still haven't read any apologies from him/her..
ReplyDeletewho cares
