3million bribery: Farouk Lawan in police custody



The Chairman, House of Representatives ad hoc Committee on the investigation of the fuel subsidy regime, Farouk Lawan, has reported at the Louis Edet House, headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force.




The Deputy Force public relations officer, Frank Mba confirmed this to journalists yesterday, stating that the lawmaker is with the Special Task Force team, where he will be spending the night.

Mba added that the lawmaker is currently undergoing interrogations with police investigators, he however did not specify when the interrogation will end and if the police will detain the lawmaker in their custody.

The police Special Task Force team is said to have given the lawmaker an ultimatum to appear before it today or risk being declared wanted.

  4. What of otedola? The freaking useless tif, who inspite of so much money, stole from Nigerians. His claims of initiating a plan to set Farouk up is lame. What is he trying to prove, that he is not so bad?
