The Lagos State Government has suspended the sack of the 788 doctors recently relieved of their duties from the government employment.
The suspension followed the intervention of the leadership of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and others led by the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu who addressed reporters on Thursday alongside State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola and Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Tunji Bello shortly after discussion with the government, urged the doctors to return to work.

Doctors go back to work.Thank God for God
ReplyDeleteSO, it took Tinubu's intervention for Fashola to recall the sacked Doctors in Lagos State. Mr. Fashola, I am highly disappointed in you. Are you trying to say to us that you are still tied to the apron string of the Jaggerbarn of Lagos? What a shame. Noteworthy people begged you to please call these people much earlier and to dialogue with them, instead of showing them the raw butt of the government power but you refused. Great wonder then to me that just one time that ojuyobo asked you to do it you quickly did -no questions asked. You are a yes-man, i'm just finding out.
ReplyDeleteI thought we had a crop of different young leaders exemplified in the lagos State's helmsman but I've just been proven wrong. What a pity on the destiny of a great country like ours.
tinubu said fire doctors u fired, he said call them back, u did well done fashola keep on playin the puppet at d mercy of lagosians. i am dis-appionted
ReplyDeletei don't think u are being realistic here, the bottom line here is that he called them back beg or know beg!,someone at least can change his mind.what of President that the whole world as been begging ever since... Please get serious and lets face the future if one of your family is among the pple that past away in the hospital during their strike am sure you wont be saying that.
