Dbanj announces Oliver Twist dance competition



Nigerian music superstar, Dapo Oyebanjo aka Dbanj aka Daniel anderson, on Sunday announced a dance competition based on his Oliver Twist track.

Dbanj, who also said the track could now be downloaded from iTunes in the United Kingdom, also urged his fans to record their own dance routines and upload it on his website.


He explained “Once you’ve got the track make sure you check out our ‘Oliver Twist’ Dance Competition at www.dbanjofficial.com/dancecompetition Whether you’re a seasoned professional, rank amateur, break-dancer, Zumba fanatic or Saturday night clubber we want YOU to enter!

“Just watch the video of D’Banj and his Kokoletts showing you some key moves from the ‘Oliver Twist’ video, then record your own routine and upload it to the website. The videos with the most Facebook ‘Likes’ will become our finalists and D’Banj will select ultimate winners.


Top prize for the best solo performer is £500 and an exclusive pair of customized trainers, courtesy of ADIDAS.

Top prize for best group performance is £500 and a private dance party for up to 12 people at Pineapple Studios in London.

  7. No one will rise without criticism. Somebobdy say he wants to move forward, you sit down there telling him how to move. The best critics are those who are not creative or don't move forward. Just wait and see how many pple will register for your so called mumu dance.

  13. I love Dbanj, but this dance......... is not just it at all. although i knew that he was never a good dancer..... and the fact that i like his music doesn't mean i should agree with all his concepts.
    no matter how creative one can be, all their ideas can not always be creative ideas... sorry on this one D...
