THERE was pandemonium, yesterday, at the domestic wing of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal 2, MMA2, Lagos, after rumour went round of imminent bomb attack.
The commotion was compounded by heavy presence of policemen inside the airport terminal and outside the airport beefing up security.
As soon as the rumour became widespread, the police Anti-bomb Squad and security personnel of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited, BASL, managers of MMA2 Terminal, swung into action and subjected all vehicles entering into the airport to through check with metal detectors.
The situation caused a heavy traffic to and from the airport, forcing road- users, especially intending travellers to trek long distance in order not to miss their flight.
Speaking, the Police Commissioner in charge of the airport, Mr. Olatunji Caulcrick, said the exercise was necessitated by the bomb scare.
Caulcrick added that the police did not leave anything to chance in ensuring a seamless travel for airport users, affirming that the police had been ordered to carry out checks whenever the needs arise.

So everybody is now living in fear in the hand of this demonic boko haram but, i know one thing is sure no matter the threat in all their ramifications God Almighty the one who sees all the inner secrets will fish them all out in Jesus name, boko haram is not bigger than the God we serve, God will fight the battle by himself, amen.
ReplyDeleteThe Nigerian Police is not smart enough to know that a metal detector cannot detect a bomb in a car. A car is full of metals. That mirror bomb detector is also useless, no one hides bombs under cars anymore.

ReplyDeleteit is so glaring that Nigeria is not secure, the happenning is the result of bad leader. The insecurity will stop when Nigeria have a listernning leader to the poor. All the appointments are given to the rich. Nigeria have chains of corrupt leaders in power. The present rulers are confused, they are surffering from in decission.
ReplyDeleteSplit the country into North and South. As they did in Sudan.
ReplyDeleteOr
Start getting rid of corrupt leadership.
Or
Better still, do both.
As long as people remain very poor, there would be an easy pool of suicide bombers to draw from.
