Rev King’s appeal Stalled

Hearing in the appeal by the convicted founder of Christian Praying Assembly, Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo (Rev. King), who is challenging the judgment of an Ikeja High Court, Lagos, which sentenced him to death by hanging for the murder of a member of his church, Miss Ann Ezeugo, yesterday, suffered a setback as the court failed to sit.

Although reason for not sitting was not disclosed, counsel in the matter, who were in court, expressed dissatisfaction when the court registrar broke the news that the court will not sit, without giving any reason.

Rev. King was convicted in January 2007 for killing a member of his church, Miss Ann Uzor Ezeugo.

  6. What are they still keeping this anti-Christ from the Church of Satan alive for after all the atrocities he has committed? Death sentence is death sentence. Rev my foot! Should any one let this animal go scot free to continue committing more atrocities and destroying peoples's lives in the name of only God know,...that man too will...

  9. Please do not sit to disuss this KING anymore; Is it that a court of competent jurisdiction no longer have what it takes to reach a verdict or does this very man has the quality of God or next to God,or is it that the reveren is too rich or, what is the problem in Nigeria?.Please give him the option to produce that same person He burnt to death or rather be hanged or burnt to death as decided. There should be no sitting because this is not an issue for debate neither does He has a right to challenge the judgement of a High Court for now.Justice should accordingly be done and nothing more in this regard. Please I am begging.

  10. Maureen is saying....

if a man is born again, old things shall pass away and all things shall become new..Kings has sinned against God and man,but he must have learnrt his lessons now. Nobody has right over ones life.I pray that God should set him free, ang give him another chance to truely preach the Bible the way it should be.
