This was contained in a statement issued by Mr. Aliyu Othman, Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Education, Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufa’I.
The statement, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Abuja, said that the President’s approval was conveyed to the JAMB registrar by the minister.
It, however, added that Ojerinde’s tenure of office would take effect from April 10, 2012.
The statement called on the registrar to rededicate himself to the success of the Transformation Agenda of the President and to sustain his good work and reforms in the operation of JAMB.
