After 5 months of watching the finest upcoming vocalists in Nigeria battle for the treasured price of being the Season 2 winner of the Nigerian Idol reality TV show, and also making away with $100,000 prize money(15 Million naira), a recording contract and an SUV, fan favourite Chinwo Nnenda also known as Mercy has emerged winner in a glamorous event yesterday evening.
She edged fellow finalist Joe Blue (Joe Anthony Ekpo) after an exciting night that featured 3 songs each. The show finale featured performances from WizKid, W4 & Chuddy K.
Mercy will walk away with $100,000, a recording contract and an SUV.

The show airs on local TV on sunday, on AIT, STV and NTA.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Mercy! the very first day i set my eyes on you which you wore different types of shoes and listen to your song, i knew from that very moment that you are a STAR and as the programe continues i was telling my husband that Mercy will be the winner, he said how did i know i told him because i have listen to all the singers also that i am a singer and i could easily recognized a talent among them. Once again, congratulations. Joe Blue you tried i know you could go far too don't stop on the way go ahead and achieve your dreams.
