An alleged pastor and man of God in the University town of Nsukka, Enugu state has reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself using a ceiling fan few weeks after inviting the dreaded Adoro deity in his compound to protect him and his family from enemies.
The alleged man of God, who was simply addressed as ThankGod hailed from Mbuke village in Nsukka Local Government Area, was said to be conducting prayers and crusades for different kinds of people seeking divination for different issues of life.
Crime Alert gathered that the alleged man of God had tricked his wife away from the family house before he embarked on the suicide mission.
Few weeks ago, the said man of God, who was engaged in a land tussle with his relations, invited the dreaded Alor-ano Adoro deity to protect himself and his family.
Reports revealed that his relations had consulted the Adoro deity to intervene in tussle for the said piece of land between them and the alleged man of God. Fears that the deity may attack and kill him, the alleged man of God equally invited the same Adoro deity to protect him.
An eye witness to the deity rituals, told Crime Alert that on the day of the rituals, a live tortoise dressed with stripes of red cloth was paraded the compound while the chief priest made incantations to crown the rituals, shots of canon guns were fired into the air to show that Adoro deity has been invited for protection from the hands of enemies.
On a visit, Crime Alert, to the home of the deceased ‘ man of God’ people stood hands akimbo in front of house the deceased as both his wife and mother were not around when he took his life.

The Bible is real, Jesus is real, the fact that a so called man-of God went so low to bow to an idol does not invalidate the supremacy of God and His words. Please accept the reality of Jesus and the word of God. if you fail to realise that on earth you will understand with regrets when you get to eternity

One man took your place and my place in the battle of life. Answering your name and my name he gave his life to fight and die in your place and my place. That man was Jesus Christ. He died for you and for me. Every sinner is under the sentence of death (Ez 18:4). Death means spiritual, physical and eternal separation from God. As an unbeliever you were like one awaiting execution. As you closed your eyes expecting the bullet some one came up and offered to stand in your place. He did not ask for payment. This is what in the bible is called substitution or exchange done by Christ for everyone on the Calvary. It is good to wise up. Your situation cannot change for better if you do not wise up. What is it to wise up? It is to reason in the way of God. The prodigal son began to wise up when he realized that he was a destitute in a foreign land. He did not like it. He started to reason like a child of God. That is what God wants you to do this morning. As a human being begin to look at life with meaning. The word of God is wisdom. It is deep and you need to discover it. God loves those who are willing to obey his voice.I want you to know that there is God, look around you and you will know that there is God indeed. God does not like competition. He is the only God (1Cor.8:6). Any other god is a pretender. The greatest sin of the Israelites in the O.T. was that they contravened the first commandant. There after they became spiritual harlots. The punishment for worshiping other gods is death (Lev 20:2). In addition, any one who worships idols shall have his or her name blotted out from the book of life. It simply means that a believer who also visits idols cannot make heaven. The Holy Spirit is reminding us about this commandment because some Christians have been led into idol worship of various kinds as a result of ignorance. As a Christian you are to connect with God through the Holy Spirit and not through images (Jn14:16). I pray that your eyes be opened to see the perils of the end times. It is good for you to know where you will go after the sourjourn here on earth.

ReplyDeleteIt's always interesting to wrongly mention that a pastor was involved in a story. That's what sells newspapers. "Bad news is great news", they say. The effect is evident. Someone will seize the'opportunity to proclaim how many pastors are deceiving people. This just 'giving a dog a bad name in order to hang him. So many people stay out of churches because of stories like this which are bandied around, with each retelling revealing new and juicier dimensions. My Anonymous brother who declared that Jesus is not real, note that Jesus will not go out of His way to reveal His 'realness'to you. I pray that the sovereign Lord of our salvation will gracious overlook your statement and send a spirit of conviction into your heart to turn you again to him. God bless you.
