Nigeria and West Bromich Albion striker Osaze Peter Odemwingie has been
named February’s Premier League player of the month, awarded by the
Barclays Awards Panel which includes representatives of the sport’s
governing body, media and fans.
The Nigerian had not scored in the away draw with Fulham or home loss against Swansea City but scored a hat-trick at Wolves before bagging a double at the Hawthorns in a 4-0 win over Sunderland.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was however named as the Premier League manager of the month for February.
The Gunners went through the month unbeaten, following up a draw against
Bolton
with wins over
Blackburn,
Sunderland
and
Tottenham
to climb into the top four.
Although the Gunners were humiliated in Europe, and they suffered F.A Cup exit, but their run in the premier league proved vital in earning Wenger his 12th Premier league manager of the month award.
