AS the world marks St. Valentine’s day tomorrow, in commemoration of lovers’ day, the National Agency for the Control of Aids, NACA, yesterday, warned against any action that would further reverse the gains so far made to halt the spread of the dreaded HIV/AIDS disease.
In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, the agency also called for show of love for those suffering from HIV/AIDS.
NACA urged celebration of Valentine’s day with restraint against indiscriminate sexual activities manifesting in unprotected sex and other vices that could negatively impact on the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS.

UNTOLD ABOUT VALENTINE
ReplyDeleteSexual intercourse is NOT and CAN NEVER BE THE CORE INTENT of val. Satan look forward to val day,to catch on preys thro' illicit sex, soul tie, drunkeness, etc contrary to the WILL OF GOD. SIN is at work when one engages in illicit sex to celibrate Val. Sin is WORST THAN HIV / AID. Hiv / Aid is deadly but SIN leads not only to physical death, spiritual death, but aswell to LAKE OF FIRE. Avoiding HIV /AIDS or using preventive measure is not a solution. The solution is in JOhn 10:10, 3:16, 3:36. Absence of SIN( Satan - IN)is Absence of Aids, but absence of HIV/ AIDS is not absence of SIN!
