The Nigerian Senate today confirmed Ibrahim Lamorde as the chairperson for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Lamorde officially succeeds Farida Waziri the former chair who was relieved of her appointment last November.

Congrats Mr Lamorde. We in Enugu do hope dat the leadership of this tested & trusted hand shall address the much expected visible punishment of the man who looted our treasury 4 good 8 uninterrupted years. It is very important to us. Our eyes & ears are open & waiting.
