Chris Brown will perform at this Sunday's Grammy Awards for the first time since beating his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 on the eve of the music industry's biggest night, which threatened to derail his music career.
Grammy organizers said on Tuesday that Brown, who has three nominations including best R&B singer for his album "F.A.M.E.", had been added to the line-up for the February 12 awards show in Los Angeles.
According to them, Brown will join Foo Fighters, Lil Wayne, David Guetta and deadmau 5 for a performance highlighting dance and electronica music for the first time on the Grammy Awards show stage.
Organizers also disclosed that Rihanna, who has four nominations including album of the year for "Loud", will sing with Coldplay on the Grammy stage.
29-year-old Young Money rhymer, Nicki Minaj will also take center stage for 'Roman Holiday,' a song featured on her forthcoming sophomore LP, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,' due April 3. The track has never been heard previously and will be the first time Minaj performs it for the public. 'Roman Holiday' will subsequently be available for sale on iTunes immediately following the awards ceremony.
Besides showcasing her lyrical stylings, the wig-wearing 'Stupid H--' creator will also compete in Grammy categories for Best New Artist, Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance.Two weeks after the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, Nicki Minaj will perform yet again at the 2012 NBA All-Star Game in Orlando on Feb. 26.
