Newsmen gathered that the four men
arrested at Anguwan Dawaki near former Bank of the North office, Suleja,
an area in Suleja which is known for notorious activities, also has a
bakery near a building where the four suspects were stuffing the bombs
into the loaves.
It
was gathered that luck ran out on them between 2pm and 3pm yesterday
when the JTF caught them on a routine check up with the bomb hidden
under the loafs of bread.
Attempt
to get any of the officials of JTF to confirm the incident proof
abortive but a senior security officer who preferred anonymity said that the men were transferred immediately to Abuja for
further interrogation.
The
Security source also told newsmen that the men, before they were
transferred to Abuja, had confessed that they were sent to detonate the
bomb after they were given N100,000 each. It was however not clear
where they wanted to detonate the bomb.
It
was gathered that the four suspects might have released information to
the security officials about the materminds of the mission which
necessitated the quick transfer of the suspects to Abuja for further
interrogation.
The
Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, Ibrahim Maishanu,
confirmed the arrest in one old hotel in Anguwan Dawaki Suleja after
using bomb detector.
