In a tweet by one of the staff members and correspondents of the BBC – British Broadcasting Corporation in Lagos Fidelis Mbah @fidelisMbah the Nigerian State Security Service has unleashed it’s force on the offices of CNN and BBC in Lagos. Tomi Oladipo another BBC Lagos tweeted about how the SSS forced its way into the offices of the global new brands.

The SSS also challenged a CNN crew about to do a Live broadcast in Lagos.
At the moment, Lagos has been taken over by military forces, using force to chase away protesters from venues.

Sad behaviour by a militant government!

ReplyDeleteHow true is this story... and why would the government do that knowing the potential international bad image in storming CNN with out cause.
ReplyDeleteI am starting to wonder if it is a slow news day. Stories like these need verification. Glad I am not the only one skeptical about this story.
