Nigerian youths today took to the streets in mass protests, frowning on the recent decision of the federal government to remove the subsidiy on fuel which had resulted in the price of petrol in the country to jump from N65 to N141 per Litre.
These has resulted in increase in bus fares and made survival for the common man in Nigeria difficult. Nigerian youths in their quest to make their voices heard have also used the social media (Twitter and Facebook) with the #OccupyNigeria hash tag
