Labor Calls off Strike!

News reports have it that the Nigerian Labour Congress NLC and the Trade Union Congress TUC have both called off the nation wide strike that started last Monday 9th January. They also called for the release of all arrested protesters.
It remains to be seen what civil societies will do but there are signs that Nigerians are not pleased with Labour’s move.

Labour however reiterated that the N97 was a unilateral decision and they were not part of it.
