Army authorities have today the 24th of January, ordered the withdrawal of soldiers deployed last week to Lagos during the oil subsidy removal protest.
Lagosians had woken up last Monday to behold stern looking soldiers in strategic areas of the state, a development sparked up controversies, with the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola, describing the deployment as undemocratic.

Fashola will go back to his vomit and ask for military assistance very soon - Police alone can not handle security in Lagos it is unfortunate that sentiments can make people lose their reason.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the reason for soldiers in Lagos? During the protests there was no destruction of any property so why soldiers? This is democracy and the people should not be seeing military men on their streets. Thank God they've gone back to their barracks. Eko o ni baje' o.
