The 22 year old, Monica beat the five other contestants to clinch the winning prize of a mouth watering recording contract worth 7 Million naira, a brand new RAV 4 jeep and 2.5 million naira.

Africa Season 4 grand finale aired on national television on Sunday, 18th december 2011Monica is the second female to have ever won the singing competition following massive votes that poured her way from ecstatic fans.
Roy was 1st runner up. He takes home 1.5 million naira and a Toyota corolla saloon car.
Ethel emerged the 3rd runner up while Ese became the 2nd runner up, both winning cash prizes also.
Some of the highlights of the show included performances by Nigerian Superstar, Wizkid and internationally known all boy band Dru Hill, who delighted the audience with captivating renditions of their hit songs.
Monica would hope to follow the steps of last year's Season 3 winner, Chidinma, who later went on to record fantastic songs, including the hit single "Jankoliko" featuring Sound sultan
