He said the state was endowed with some of the finest coal in the world, comparable with those from Australia.
Sachdev said that the project would be the first of its kind in the country.
The group president said they were in Gombe to present a proposal to the state government on agriculture, especially in production and processing of tomatoes, cassava and rice.
"We are going to train farmers, teach them how to cultivate and get the highest harvest.
"Foods are perishable items and so you need to know how to preserve them and market them," he said.
In his response, Dankwambo said the importance of electricity power could not be over emphasised.
He announced the names of members of a committee that would study the two proposals presented to the state by the company and directed them to discuss with the investors on the modalities.
