The ongoing National assembly elections is proving to be a logistical night mare for INEC as several states have complained of several challenges. A lot of the polling areas do not have enough materials, ballot papers and boxes and officials have also not arrived timeously to conduct the accreditation process which was scheduled to end at 12 noon .
INEC officials are still no where to be found in Borno and Niger and it is likely that several locations will have their elections postponed. Information reaching us say that elections have already been postponed in the FCT, Kogi and Oyo central.
Another strange challenge is the wrong voters list produced by officials at some locations, voters were shocked to see that their names were conspicuously missing from the voters list or that the entire voters list for that polling area was totally wrong.
In Lagos, accreditation is also yet to begin in Mushin, Ikorodu, Ejigbo, Akute, Ikoyi, Isheri and Ojodu.
INEC chairman, Professor Jega is scheduled to issue a press statement on these issues shortly. Nigerian eye will bring you highlights of the statement later.

It is so surprise to the voters, that up to 11am, most polling centers have not started the accreditation which suppose to start by 8:00am-12 noon, less talking of casting of votes itself which suppose to start by 12:30. i pray thee chairman that you should see what it takes to make the election to be superb in the history of our country. More strength to your elbow.
