Vice presidential candidate of the CPC and pastor of the Latter rain assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare has declared that the April presidential election is a contest between ' honest men and dishonest men'.
Addressing the people of the South East, Bakare emphasized why the electorate should not give their votes to the ruling PDP.
"The contest this time around is not like 2003 or 2007, the contest is not between the PDP and ACN or CPC, the contest is between honest men and dishonest men, Nigerians you have to shine your eyes, election 2011 is between promise keepers and promise breakers, between the corruptible and the incorruptible. We can no longer leave the affairs of our country in the hands of those who cannot keep simple promises.
According to Pastor Bakare, Nigerians should not consider President Jonathan as someone whom they can trust, "He did not keep his word on zoning, he will not keep his word to you, do not trust him with your vote, those who are not trustworthy should not be trusted, men of character ought to be in charge of the affairs of this country, men who will keep their promise no matter what it cost them.

We should not trust Jonathan with our vote but we should trust you with our vote.... You are sounding more like a politician rather than a man of God you called yourself to be. Because the Bible says thou shall not judge which you are already doing. Why dont you just speak for the work of your hand.
ReplyDeleteyou have to go back to the sheep God gave to u to take care of, i mean your church members. your message has changed since u joined politics. u have started behaving like those of them u were criticizing years ago. don"t deceive Nigerians,u are not to be trusted. well i strongly believe Nigerians are not fools to give u their vote. GO BACK TO THE CHURCH WERE U BELONG AND DO WHAT GOD HAS CALLED U TO DO (SOUL WINNING)
ReplyDeleteThe problem with Nigerians is that we do not want people with integrity to rule us. We always prefer thieves and rogues. I am not a Bakare church member but nothing stops a Pastor from contesting. He is a Nigerian and he has rights like any other person. Who says he can't preach and win souls as the Vice-President? Nigeria is where it is today because we always vote for rogues. WAKE UP!!!
ReplyDeletewell every one has his opinion and freedom to express it. Mine is that Jonathan can never deliver on 3% of his promise, please keep sentiments apart, have you listened to his speeches? he has nothing to say, his ambition is driven by long throat-ism for power and Back By OBJ and most hefty corrupt Nigerians.
ReplyDeleteBut These are the things Nigerians like yet we keep complaining, but my pity goes to the Ibos, their leaders are self centered people who will never move for something that will benefit the tribe with the Highest population in this country yet they have 5 state where other have 7, the believe GEJ will safe them just because he remembered that he has Ebele and Azikiwe on his name just few days to his declaration.
I know they have perfected plans to return the Otuoke Man but their will be problem with other PDP candidates they party muscled on the people.
the last is not heard.
