Nigerians react to the new N145 fuel price


Nigerians on Wednesday reacted to the new pump price announced by the Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu.

NigerianEye recalls that the Federal Government has approved an increase of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) normally referred to as petrol to be sold not more than N145 per litre effective from 11th May, 2015.

The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) is expected to accordingly announce the new price. Recall that the product was selling for N86.50 per litre.

The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu revealed this to the State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

  2. Chanji!Hardship hunger frustration and starvation will deal with Nigerian within the next 3years. Check out the series of taxes and Fasholas toll gate is still on the line . Minimum wage is still 18000 naira. Na the change we voted for be that. It sweet our belly well well. Sai Baba.But it is like this our change na one chance we enter oo! according to Fayose. Fayose is right.....chanji sai Baba! Intact I am trekking fromLagos to London for this change.

  3. Infact, I wouldn't know what is going on in nigeria again as've this is not Nigeria we're been born. All food items are inflated that some household could not even afford to buy rice again. Fuel price again @145per litre. Infact, Nigeria is in serious boundage.. May God just Kaput the lives of those people involved in this hardship

Omo this change na hell oo, salary is still d same, to buy tomatoes now na hot cake, nothing dat d price has not gone high except they've not produce that thing yet.Now that fuel price is #145, price of goods will increase more. hmmm i pity Buhari supporters because heaven will not fall and kill one person.

  5. I wish this will eradicate fuel scarcity in Nigeria. We need to ask God to intervain in this matter otherwise we will see more hardship than what we are experiencing now. Please God have mercy on us.
