CHIBOK GIRLS FOUND?: Nigerian soldiers rescue 200 girls, 93 women from Sambisa forest

CHIBOK GIRLS FOUND?

The Director, Defence Information, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, has confirmed that the troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued 200 girls and 93 women during a raid on Sambisa Forest in Borno State.

However, Olukolade could not however confirm whether the rescued girls were the Chibok girls, who were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State in April last year or not.

The Defence spokesman told our correspondent on the telephone that the tweets on the twitter handle of the Nigeria military supplied the true information about the military operation in Sambisa.

The Defence authorities had stated in three tweets that the soldiers rescued the girls and the women during an invasion of the Boko Haram stronghold.

It was further stated that the freed girls and women were being screened and profiled.

The Defence authorities stated specifically that the military had not been able to confirm whether the girls were part of the Chibok girls, who were abducted by Boko Haram on April 14, 2014.

It was further stated that the troops also destroyed three terrorists camps including Tokumbere, which is said to be highly notorious (for crimes).

He said, “Troops this afternoon rescued 200 girls and 93 women from Sambisa. We cannot confirm if the Chibok girls are in the roup.

“The troops captured and destroyed three terrorists camps including the ‎notorious Tokumbere Camp in the Sambisa Forest operation.

“The freed persons are now bein screened and profiled. We will bring you details later.”

D fact is dt the "BH" we r fightin r known men sitting comfortably as political figures...God would soon expose all Treachery! Power thirsty fools...

    1. The army keep telling stories from all the sides of the mouth through Oga Kola. I don't know what is difficult in what you said o. Or may be they don't understand the language of the girls' they rescued.

    2. Very sorry for some of you who make fool of yourself in public platform like this. I am sure you do not know the meaning of profiling; because if you knew you wouldn't express yourself this way.

    1. why are you thanking Buhari. from what we know he doesnt have any power to implement anything until after the 29th of May. so he has obviously done nothing. GEJ is still in power and this is still his regime. it is right to give credit to whom credit is due. so stop living in denial and stop talking like you are clueless.

  9. Well what else can I say...wether they are the Chibok girls or Chobik girls welldone. Now earlier they said some escaped, some where rescued, how come we still have exact 200? Something to ponder. The whole issue is just confusing. Why not ask these girls and women how and where they are from...cant they talk...cant the government use some experts to question and get facts from them...funny country we live in

  10. Many of you are just poisoned brats. One of the factors that affected the victory of Jonathan was the missing girls. Some concluded he can not rule the country. So why would he engage in such a venture that led to his failure at the poles. And release them after the election. Think please. He might have his admistrative fault, but arranging for their kidnapping and have them abused sexually, is not GEJ.

    1. GEJ''s government must have been a very weak government, how can anyone scam you as a government and you couldn't do anything within your power to prove them wrong and make us proud.... All you jonadaft supporters should just keep quiet and hide your faces in shame #bringbackourgirls

  13. If this is the tactic of the opposition and the party in power (PDP)is in full control, then this tactic would have been twarted or foiled. It is a Test on the security of the country,Nigeria.Their inability to avert this TEST shows the level of their weaknesses which is having negative impact on the economy. It is good as they have been voted out.

  15. I have been thinking, before election the military found it impossible to enter this sambisa or samosa forest (part 1), but after election the military found it so possible with cows leading the way (part 2). This Nigeria politillywood movie is getting more interesting. walahi, watch out for the concluding part.
